Phyllis says her tenant Scherryl was responsible and paid her rent on time until she met her new boyfriend. Phyllis claims Scherryl can not pay the rent because Scherryl’s new boyfriend takes all of her money. Phyllis also says Scherryl moved in family members who were not on the original lease. Now Phyllis is suing for past due rent and for damages Scherryl’s kids made to her property. Scherryl says she will not pay Phyllis until Phyllis fixes the house and says Phyllis is lying about her boyfriend taking her money and has nothing to do with unpaid rent or damages. Scherryl believes she does not owe Phyllis anything because Phyllis has not made the necessary fixes to the house. (SHOW #3060)

Harriet is on Judge Alex to sue her daughter Laurie for $5,000 for stealing money and for an unpaid loan. Harriet says she loaned Laurie money to avoid eviction and agreed to repay her. Harriet also claims Laurie stole money from her bank account using her ATM card, now she says she feels good suing her only daughter. Laurie says her mother Harriet grew up wealthy and never knew how it felt to struggle for money. Laurie says she never agreed to pay Harriett back and never asked for any money. Laurie claims Harriet gave money to her as a gift because she loves her. (SHOW #3147)

Sandy says when she went to a detox center her ex-boyfriend Davy took advantage of her. Sandy claims she took out three loans for Davy and while she was in a rehabilitation center Davy ran up a bill on her cell phone and blew out her car engine while driving drunk. Davy says Sandy never gave him any money from any loans and says he has his own cell phone and never made any unauthorized calls on Sandy’s cell phone. Davy also claims Sandy’s car stopped working shortly after she bought it and he is not at fault for the engine blowing out. (SHOW #3084)

Marjorie is suing her daughter Brandice for refusing to return her furniture, which Marjorie shared with her now deceased ex-husband, Brandice’s father. Marjorie also says Brandice is keeping her deep freezer, futon and furniture out of spite. Marjorie also claims when she went to Brandice’s home to reclaim her property Brandice dragged her downstairs keeping her from reclaiming what was hers. Brandice says all of the furniture belongs to her father and not to Marjorie. Brandice admits throwing Marjorie down the stairs to make her leave her home and says Marjorie is greedy and selfish. Nancy says her dog was on her property when Susan’s dog dug underneath their fence snatched her dog and viciously attacked him. Nancy also claims Susan is a con artist who can not be trusted and is suing her for veterinarian bills and emotional distress. Susan and her husband Ron say their dogs were on his property when Nancy’s dog came over started picking on one of his dogs and his own dog attacked Nancy’s dog out of self-defense. Susan claims Nancy is using the dog attack story as a way to get money. (SHOW #3021)
